SHARKZILLA?!? 3.6 METRE SHARK TOOK CHOMPS OUT OF HUMPBACK WHALE and SEAL AND HUGE TUNA : IS THIS THE RESULT OF NUCLEAR WASTE MUTATION

2 OCEAN VIBE : MASSIVE 3.6 METRE SHARK : NUCLEAR WASTE DRIVEN BIOLOGICAL CHANGES?

Excerpt: But the discovery of a 12-foot (3.7-metre) mako shark in New York’s coastline, which has been dubbed Sharkzilla, has some locals thinking that its huge size might be the result of a nuclear waste leak causing it to mutate. Yes, really.

This shark is making its marks, quite literally, having taken a 24-inch chomp out of a humpback whale, inflicting a 22-inch wound on a seal and chewing up a 400-pound (180 kilogram) tuna. So, at least its eating well.

The fearsome sea creature was recently featured on Discovery Channel’s Shark Week in an episode titled “Sharkzilla Takes New York,” with the show detailing the efforts of shark scientist, Craig O’Connell, and experts to track down the beast, with the attacks proving that enormous sharks are making a return to the area.

Siren here!  What do you think?  IS THIS SCIENCE FACT OR A DELICIOUS FICTION?
